Al Musallah Prayer Hall, CERBA, 2019 

Al Musallah Prayer Hall is part of a larger complex that includes Qasr Al Hosn fort and the Cultural Foundation. Located in the northeastern corner of the site, the prayer hall is a key element of a 2019 masterplan that merges a cluster of historic structures with modern buildings. The prayer hall, fort, and cultural foundation form a geometric silhouette with clean lines, reflecting the mud-crack patterns seen in Abu Dhabi’s landscape, and are a contrast to the contemporary skyscrapers surrounding the fort.
